Here is a small game I created in 2009. I saw a Java version of it and wanted to recreate it in VBA
I tested the application in Excel 2003, 2007 and 2010.
You may use it freely both in private and commercial environments, keep it, spread it around and never pay for it. Please leave the credits in tact. I took me quite some time to create this application.
You can download the application by richt-clicking here and select to save the target as...
How to play?
The objective is to play the right field so that it matches the numbers in left field and to do that as fast as possible.
If you click on any square in the right play field you will see the number 1 appear on it. If you click any of the surrounding horizontal or vertical squares you will see the number of the first square increase with 1 to a total value of 2. Click another surrounding field and it goes to 3, and so on.
The highest number you can get is 4. If it is increased for the 4th (and last) time the number will flip to 1 again.
The New game button will create a new game.
Using the Size box you can set the size of the game field. Try 3 first, then work your way up. The maximum game field size is 10x10.
The Undo button will undo your last move.
The Reset button will reset the play field so you may try again.
The game keeps a list of 10 highscores for each game field. Well, actually it not a highscore. Your score is the time it takes to complete the game. The faster you finish it the better it is. If you are fast enough you can enter your name in the list of highscores.
Using either the Undo or Reset button disables the option to make a new highscore.
|There are no highscores yet. I decided to keep my 3 second records out of there ;-)
There is a small play instruction included in the game which you can see by clicking the Help button on the startup screen.
If you have any questions or remarks please feel free to contact me.
That's all there is to it.
Hope you'll enjoy the game!
